Husk power Nepal Pvt. Ltd. (HPN) is a private company established in August 2013 with an objective to provide cost effective renewal energy technologies (RETs) in Nepal. The company was established as a response towards bringing down the vulnerability caused by impacts of global warming, climate change, poor use of available biomass resources and underutilization of other renewal energy resources in Nepal. HPN brings innovations in RETs through continued research and development process, and, provides different technological options for the rural communities and medium and small entrepreneurs (MSMEs) for biomass sector. It also provides options for clean energy resources and varieties and green products.
The major products of HPN include varieties of improved metallic biomass cook stoves as well as improved gasifier cookstoves, husk pellet, bio-paint, biochar, solar PV technologies, etc. The company is managed and is in operation under the management of professional having more than 20 years of experience in energy, environment and development sector. It has been able to provide quality service and products along with building professional relationships with its clients, and workmanship with passionate enthusiasm.
The factory is located in Ward No. 21 (Patelnagar Area) of Birgunj Metropolitan City, Parsa district. Its service centers are operating in all Provinces.
