Husk power Nepal Pvt. Ltd. (HPN) is a private company established in August 2013 with an objective to provide cost effective renewal energy technologies (RETs) in Nepal. The company was established as a response towards bringing down the vulnerability caused by impacts of global warming, climate change, poor use of available biomass resources and underutilization of other renewal energy resources in Nepal. HPN brings innovations in RETs through continued research and development process, and, provides different technological options for the rural communities and medium and small entrepreneurs (MSMEs) for biomass sector. It also provides options for clean energy resources and varieties and green products.
The major products of HPN include varieties of improved metallic biomass cook stoves as well as improved gasifier cookstoves, husk pellet, bio-paint.

There are various ways to reduce carbon emission by adopting our (i) efficient clean cooking stoves for households and commercial uses, (ii) use of husk pellet as cleaner form of fuels for replacing wood, coal and fossil fuel, (iii) use of Vedic bio paint as environment friendly and lead-free painting solution, and (iv) environment friendly cost-effective modern metallic furniture. This was an eye opener visit for me and my students . The plant was representing things that are possible in Nepal . A single organization trying to create their product through rudimentary R&D process. This is complemented by the hospitable , insightful discussion and sessions with Manoj sir . The field visit to Husk Power Nepal on 17th march was really amazing .We/Our team got to know about the manufactured stoves in Husk Power Nepal and other accessories such as manufacturing of pellets and wardrobes etc. This field visit of around 2 hour was amazing . Hope to see soon with further more collaboration in upcoming days .
